BIO

The life of Alana Sinkey, singer and songwriter, is woven with threads of art and passion.
Born in Lisbon in 1990, her musical destiny was set from an early age.
His father Bidinte, a respected musician from Guinea-Bissau, inspired him to build his career in music.
At 16, Alana moved to Madrid where she immersed herself in the Spanish capital's music scene as an autodidact, forging her path through experience and passion.

PATH

Her love of music led her to explore different genres and styles. Her influences include Caetano Veloso, Luis Alberto Spinetta, and Björk.  

Alana was part of projects such as Cosmosoul and Patax, fusing jazz, flamenco, funk, and neo-soul. After 13 years of group career, Alana Sinkey now embarks on an exciting solo stage.

Collaborations:

It is worth highlighting her collaboration in recordings and performances with Alejandro Sanz, Jorge Drexler, Shakira, Eva Yerbabuena, Nuevo Ballet Español, Alfredo Rodríguez, as well as her participation in the first edition of the Latin Grammy Sessions Flamencas, where she stars in an audiovisual piece alongside Arcángel and Javier Limón.

NEW PROJECT

In this new stage Alana Sinkey He sets out on his own to explore a new musical imaginary, with songs of his own authorship in which the presence of African rhythms stands out alongside the language provided by his mastery of jazz and flamenco, all seasoned with subtly incorporated electronic elements that transform into a very personal and organic sound.

A repertoire composed for his debut album, which will be released in late 2025.
