Roots is a sensory experience that awakens
collective memory
Roots It is a musical and theatrical journey that combines humor, emotion and sound poetry.
The show begins when the musicians of STRAD They discover, in a Galician house, the letters and recordings of a mysterious traveler:
Lucy Bernhardt, a European biologist who traveled around Spain in 1931 studying trees and cultures.
Through her voice and the places she visited - Galicia, Andalusia, Aragon, Euskadi - the band
revives a musical map full of Celtic, flamenco, Mediterranean and rock roots.
Each scene is a bridge between times and souls: from the Galician fire to the Andalusian sun, from Dalí's surrealism to the Aragonese jotas. On their journey, Lucy and the musicians remind us that trees, with their deep roots and open branches, are the best mirror of what we should be:
Connected, diverse beings full of shared life.
Roots It is a tribute to creation, memory and hope; an invitation to return
to the origin, to listen to the land and to find ourselves again in music
