Natalia Calderón, professional singer, actress, vocal coach, singing teacher and theatrical producer.
From a very young age, her dreams were directed towards the world of performing. Whether singing or acting, she always looked for a way to be on a stage, and if that wasn't possible, she'd set up a makeshift stage at home and perform for her family. Even for her studies, she created imaginary scenarios where, for example, she would transform herself into a doctor of world history being interviewed on the radio by a famous journalist – who turned out to be herself – to discuss the whys, hows, and how many of the most memorable events that had occurred throughout the centuries.
Life gradually led her to want to professionalize this passion for singing and acting, and she became certain that she wanted to dedicate herself to it permanently.
Long live art!

Biography from the artist
«"27"»
It is a poetic and musical show inspired by the work of Generation of '27, which finds its deepest pulse in the compositions of Natalia Calderón.
It is also a reparation: Natalia's conscious and deliberate effort to to rescue from oblivion the women who gave it a voice, Because without them (without their talent, without their commitment, without their art) 27 is not complete. 27 is, therefore, a commitment to live poetry, to cultural diversity, to jazz in Spanish, and above all, to making women visible in a society that systematically denies them.
The greatness of that generation was only possible thanks to the passion, audacity, and camaraderie of those women and men (we are talking about poets like Rosa Chacel, Josefina de la Torre, Elisabeth Mulder, Ernestina de Champourcin, Manuel Altolaguirre, Pedro Salinas, and Luis Cernuda) who inextricably shared the same time, the same vocation, the same destiny. 27 is, ultimately, a shared history: that of all those lyrical souls who with their song (and their commitment!) raised Spanish poetry to the highest peaks of European culture.
If you like music, poetry, and enjoy beauty, this is your show.
